About Us

The Gary Bush Foundation was founded by Gary's sister Kirsty.

After losing Gary, Kirsty wanted to keep his name alive, and also wanted to raise awareness of asthma to try and prevent anyone going through what Gary did. She confided in a couple of close friends what her thoughts and aims where and between them they set about putting it all in motion.

On Christmas Day 2019, Kirsty gave a box to her family, with Trustee invites, merchandise, a heartfelt letter to them and the first ever donation from a cake stall she had done with her trusted friend Jo a few weeks before. The Gary Bush Foundation was founded!

Our Aims

• To raise knowledge, understanding and conversation around organ donation
• To raise awareness of the severity of asthma
• To raise funds for charities that have played an important role in Gary's life.
